Our Lady of Loretto School has been an essential part of the Novato community since 1959. We provide a rigorous faith-based academic curriculum that focuses on educating the whole child. Our focus is providing each child with new challenges through a variety of teaching strategies designed to nurture intellectual curiosity and a love of learning. We nurture the development of each individual student’s journey in becoming compassionate, humble, responsible, and involved spiritual thinkers ready to be life-long learners in Christ.
In partnership with our parents, we seek to instill in students a sense of social conscience, personal commitment, and Christian action. Drawing from the strength of their foundation in Catholic values, students will be empowered to assume responsibility for personal, and moral decisions in an increasingly complex and demanding world.
The faculty and staff, as facilitators of learning, are dedicated to providing the quality of education that encourages self-expression, embraces diversity, and balances independent thought with cooperative effort allowing for each child to be intellectually challenged and supported in their personal development.
