Saint Matthew Catholic School is celebrating 87 years of teaching children Catholic values while instilling the desire to be lifelong learners. We continue to uphold the founder’s mission to form and educate the minds, bodies and spirits of our students. Students create and apply knowledge by thinking and doing and learn the value of questioning, experimenting and participating.
Our strong academic curriculum is supplemented with wide a variety of classes including coding class, foreign language, physical education, and faith and values development. We practice the Catholic traditions such as May Crowning and Blessing of the Animals. Our after school activities include such things as journalism, instrumental, robotics, and a strong sports program. Our in-school clubs are Book Club, Improvisation Club, and Game Club.
Our weekly student liturgies allow our students to actively engage in their faith. On Sunday our students sing in the choir, altar serve and the newly confirmed are Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors. This year we initiated a Mass for Teens on Sunday evenings in the chapel.
You are welcome to take a school tour on Thursdays at 9 AM or attend our Mass for Teens on Sunday evenings!
