Saint James is a K-8 Catholic elementary school nestled between Noe Valley and the Mission. Centrally located in the City, St. James lives within two of the most dynamic and vibrant neighborhoods. St. James can be found on a quiet residential street where we have been good neighbors for a hundred years.
We honor our Dominican heritage through our guiding pillars of Study, Prayer, Community and Service. We are proud of our proven track record of preparing students for high school and beyond. We are committed to providing an educational experience that caters to the individual needs of our students as they grow to discover their special talents.
St. James takes advantage of its mobile size as the entire school participated in a Beach Clean-up visit to Ocean Beach! Parents, teachers and students all took part in a wonderful outing. Students had spent the week prior learning about ocean preservation in alignment with Next Generation Science Standards. Our whole-school field trip speaks to the community we build at St. James. To learn more about our school family and the learning we experience, please visit us on our website. Better yet, we personally invite you to visit our school and see for yourself.
