Good Shepherd School is commemorating the International Day of Peace on September 21 with a week of events both in and out of the classroom. We have joined with the Pacifica Partners in Peace to provide teachers with lessons and activities for students in all grades, TK-8. Good Shepherd students will learn how to become powerful friends who can stand up to bullying when they feel they or their classmates are being threatened. Students will also learn about being good stewards of the environment and the awesome beauty of our ocean and its animals, with whom we are so fortunate to be neighbors.
At Good Shepherd we have added several after school enrichment programs that afford students the opportunity to go above and beyond their classroom learning. Our students can be Ocean Explorers or Chess Wizards. They can go crazy in Mad Science, or test their acting chops with Spindrift. At Good Shepherd we believe we must educate and enrich the whole child, spiritually, academically, and creatively. These programs, along with our renowned STEM curriculum, allows us to do just that. We are proud of the good work at Good Shepherd and want to share it with everyone!
